Daddy Daughter Dance
Dads and daughters are invited to take part in a special night to remember…as Avondale hosts the 8th annual Daddy-Daughter Dance! Avondale’s Daddy-Daughter Dance is scheduled for Saturday, February 20, 2010 in the ballroom at the Avondale Hilton Garden Inn.
The Daddy-Daughter Dance is specially organized for girls of all ages and their fathers (or special father figure in their life). The event includes a deejay, dancing, contests, raffles, prizes, catered appetizers and sweets. A professional photographer will also be on hand to capture the special occasion for an additional cost. Tickets are limited, and available only through advance sales. Tickets go on sale starting January 4. Tickets may be purchased at Avondale City Hall, 11465 W. Civic Center Drive, from 7 am to 6 pm Monday – Thursday (Please note that City Hall is closed Fridays). Tickets will not be sold at the door on the night of the event.

Cost: Avondale Residents: $45 per pair, $20 each additional ticket; Non-Residents: $54 per pair, $25 each additional ticket.

4th Annual Luke West Valley Recreation Family Fun Expo
The Luke West Valley Recreation Committee is hosting the 4th annual Family Fun Expo. Join us for a day of family fun including the pet. Many recreational opportunities and information of the West Valley cities programs. Something for everyone, including Pet Expo, with Chihuahua and Wiener Dog Races, Stupid Pet Tricks, Youth and Teen basketball competition, Youth Art Show, Skateboard competition, Best of the West Softball Tournament, kids zone, Young Country band and Radio Disney stage and much more.
