Billy Moore Days Coming Soon!

Billy Moore Heritage Days pays tribute to Avondale’s roots dating back to its founder, Billy Moore, who first called the settlement “Coldwater,” after the nearby Agua Fria River.

Celebrate Billy Moore Heritage Days! The event initially begun in 1955, and was managed by the local chamber of commerce.  The City took on the management of this historic event in 2006. Last year, the event took an economic reprieve, but now, the Billy Moore Heritage Days is back, but in a new way!  The event was originally a one weekend event, has now been extended to be a month long community celebration!

The entire community is invited to celebrate this occasion coming out to the many exciting Billy Moore Heritage Days events lined up during the month of October 2010.
