The City requires all business activities performed within the City to obtain a Privilege Tax/Business License by completing and submitting a Privilege License Tax/Business License Application Form (below). A license is required for each business location and for each business at a single location. There is a one-time nonrefundable application processing fee of $25.00 and an annual license fee of $40.00. The license fee is assessed for the period of January 1 through December 31 with no prorating.
Special Event Licenses
This license is available only for events sponsored by a nonprofit organization. Vendors may obtain this license for a maximum of three days at a charge of $15.00 per day.
License Renewal
All Privilege Tax/Business licenses expire on December 31 each year. Renewal fees of $40 are due and payable on January 1 and shall be considered delinquent if not received on or before the last business day of January.
The license should be posted and exhibited in some conspicuous part of such place of business.
