Dial-a-Ride

Avondale contracts through the City of Phoenix to provide residents with a Dial-A-Ride Service. This service is in compliance with federal regulations. The City of Avondale offers an Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Service to eligible persons who, because of a disability, cannot use Valley Metro fixed-route bus service. Please

Fixed Route Bus Service
Fixed-route bus service offers citizens transportation alternatives to locations within the city of Avondale and throughout the Valley. Currently, the city of Avondale funds four local routes and one express routes to downtown Phoenix. Click on each route for times and maps of service.

Route 3A – Van Buren Street
Route 17A – McDowell Road
Route 29A – Thomas Road
Route 131 – Dysart/Avondale Boulevard

Taxi Subsidy Program

The City of Avondale is pleased to provide a taxi-subsidy for persons with special transportation needs. The program is designed to assist people making repetitive trips for medical treatments and therapies.
