    Class will be held at the Garden Patch Community Garden, please dress appropriately for outdoors. The soil type on your property is an important factor in determining how fast and how often water can be applied to the plant material. Come learn how knowing the type of soil and how often to water will help your garden to thrive.

    Super Saturday, the family-friendly football themed event, is Saturday January 31, 2015 at Friendship Park in Avondale. There will be a Kids Zone, sports and cheerleader clinics, food and expo area, plus a few surprise guests. One guest will be, All-American, University Of Oregon Graduate, and NFL wide receiver Cameron Colvin will be a featured guest at the Chamber’s Super Saturday, January 31st at Friendship Park in Avondale. An alumni from De La Salle HS Alumni, Cameron's life story is subject of the major motion film "When the Game Stands Tall,” which is still in theaters. Cameron will be at Super Saturday to talk about his football career, the movie, and be part of the coin toss for the championship flag football tournament.

  3. Craft Fair & Rummage Sale

    January 31, 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM @ Mosaic Arts Center - Parking Lot

    Do you enjoy arts and crafts? Do you want to support community enrichment? Then the Mosaic Arts Center is the place for you! Come support a local non-profit organization in an effort to teach K-12 students STE[+a]M (Science, Technology, Engineering, ART, and Mathematics) concepts. "The Mosaic Arts Center is preparing today's kids for tomorrow's world". Goods available for purchase at the event include, but are not limited to, Valentine's Day cards and crafts, refreshments such as soft drinks, water, hot dogs, chips, etc., clothing items, books, video games and other crafts made by members of the community.
