  3. Parks, Recreation and Libraries Advisory Board Meeting

    The Parks, Recreation & Libraries Advisory Board was established in 1986 to advise the City Council on items such as the planning of future parks, the modification of existing parks. They play a key role in the planning of current and future recreation activities and provided input in the preparation of the Parks and Recreation Comprehensive Master Plan.

  7. Planning Commission Meeting

    The Planning Commission acts as an advisory body to the City Council on existing and potential policies, and other issues related to planning development and regulation of land use. The Planning Commission has decision-making authority for a variety of development proposals.

If you are interested in beautiful blooms that attract hummingbirds and butterflies, this class is for you. We’ll explore the numerous options for a colorful yard that is also water thrifty. The bonus is that you will attract nature’s pollinators. Depending on the time of year and what you plant, you can attract different types of hummingbirds, moths, and butterflies. Arizona is lucky to have a diverse array of plants and wildlife.
